We are delighted to announce that the school has been named as South East regional winner of the Learning Outside the Classroom Awards. Two members of staff went to collect the trophy at the national conference in Leeds. This is in recognition of our commitment to developing learning opportunities outside for all our children.
We now have our new gazebo in the front playground paid for by money raised by FOHIS. The gazebo will be used for music, story times, drama and much more, the children are already enjoying the new space at playtimes.
We have also bought some new all- weather suits for the children to use on top of their coats to allow us to use the field more often during the winter. We now have enough for Reception and Year 1 and we are hoping to buy more of these during the year for year 2.   

Reception now has a new shelter outside the double doors into Willow and Cherry classes. This will be fitted with benches and a new wellie boot storage system to allow the Reception children to change into their boots outside and improve the storage of equipment
