Mental Health and Wellbeing

Zones of Regulation is a curriculum that we introduced in the Autumn term 2020, it includes a range of activities to help your child develop skills in the area of self-regulation.  Please see the PDF below and watch the Zones Check-in at home for further support.

Place2Be - Parenting Smart Are providing a free online parenting course.  It is based on tried and tested techniques and experiences from supporting children, young people and their families.  The course is designed to support parents and carers of primary-age children in their parenting journey.  Place2Be also has a range of wellbeing activities for families during coronavirus.

Sleep Scotland provides a wealth of support for establishing good sleeping routines.  Access the Gateway to good sleep.  The school can access support from the School Nurse Team if more guidance is needed.  Please contact your child's class teacher in the first instance.

West Sussex Educational Psychologist Consultation West Sussex Educational Psychology Service is offering the opportunity for parents to speak with an Educational Psychologist about a child or young person.  Educational Psychologists are professionals concerned with the development, learning and social and emotional wellbeing of children and young people. Calls can be requested where there is a question or concern about learning or behaviour as well as worries about wellbeing and emotions

Sussex Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) website is to help children, young people, families and carers when someone is experiencing difficulties with their emotional wellbeing or mental health.  It includes the latest support during COVID-19
