School Improvement Plan



Our school improvement plan was written in September 2019.    Throughout this academic year, we will be focussing on these five key priorities:

Priority 1:
Quality of Education

To implement a clearly designed curriculum which meets the needs of all learners.

To improve the standard of phonics and reading, ensuring that both are fully embedded across the curriculum.

Behaviour and Attitudes

To embed our behaviour policy, ensuring that expectations are understood by all members of the school community.

Leadership and Management

To develop highly effect leadership at all levels focussed on high expectations and improving teaching and learning.

Priority 5:
Early Years

To ensure that teaching and learning in Early Years is consistently good or better so that:

  • The proportion of pupils achieving GLD exceeds national expectations.
  • Pupils are challenged and the number of pupils achiving exceeding is at least in line with national averages.
